NMX
Membrane nitrogen generators utilize membrane separation technology. Clean and dry compressed air enters one or more membrane modules, where gas components with faster permeation rates (such as H2O, H2, Q2, etc.) preferentially permeate through the membrane wall and get enriched on the low-pressure permeate side. Gas components with relatively slower permeation rates (such as N2, etc.) are enriched on the high-pressure retentate side. This process enables the production of nitrogen gas with the desired purity.
